I love cupcakes.
They're cute, and tasty, and I have a hard time saying "no" to one. After all, they're small! It's amazing to me how much joy can come in such a little package!

I enjoy baking.
I've always baked for family, friends, parties and functions. Some of my favorite memories as a child were the times spent in the kitchen helping my Mom. I always pestered her to make something sweet... and she's the kind of Mom who would make two desserts every day. Over the years, she has shared many valuable tricks and a big box full of favorite recipes. Now that I'm grown, people are always asking me when I will be bringing them dessert again. Finally, those recipes are getting put to good use.

Wish-Cake - The online cupcake shop
In 2007, I decided to put my baking skills to the test and launched a very small website (two pages!) offering just a chocolate or vanilla option. My original mission was to help busy parents by baking fresh, beautiful cupcakes and then delivering them right to their child's school. I never expected the number of requests for cupcake deliveries to colleges and business offices, to grown children from their Mom's or friends. I guess that proves you're never too old for cupcakes!

Since then Wish-Cake has delivered thousands of cupcakes to locations all over the greater Philadelphia, PA area.

About Wish-Cake cupcakes:
One of the best things about Wish-Cake is that any day of the year, you can choose your favorite flavor cake, add your favorite flavor frosting, choose your colors, choose mix-ins and more. It's a lot of fun to build-your-own cupcake. We've mixed up some favorite cupcake combinations in our menu to give you some ideas and get you started - but the final decision is always up to you. Then best of all, we bake them fresh from scratch and deliver them right to you or a loved one. All of our recipes are kid-tested and are sure to please. If you don't find what you want on our menu, you can always contact us and ask.

Our ingredients are bought fresh, right before we need them. We never use cake-mixes or canned frosting. Our cupcakes are made from the kinds of ingredients our grandmothers used when they made treats for us. Flour, sugar, eggs, in our cakes and pure vanilla and real butter in our buttercream frostings. Fresh-baked cupcakes are the best tasting cupcakes. The exact ingredients are listed with each cupcake, and details are available upon request. We include ingredient listings with every delivery. If you have concerns about an ingredient or have an allergy, we can provide you with adjusted or alternative recipes.

We take the business of baking for you seriously. Wish-Cake is Serv-Safe certified - which means we understand the best practices in safe food handling and preparations.
